Audio excerpt from Live from Mount Olympus: Theseus & Ariadne Episode 8: “I never imagined such beautiful strangeness” in support of Nathan Yungerberg’s application for the John Simon Guggenheim Memorial Foundation Fellowship. Nathan was the head writer for seven seasons of Live from Mount Olympus. This is the final scene, when Ariadne realizes she has been left alone on Naxos, and Drakaina, the sacred snake she carried with her from Crete, urges her to step through the stone gate into the unknown.
